Toronto’s 3rd Voice Vocal Training Studio & Services
The 3rd Voice Studio in Toronto teaches exclusively Speech Level Singing (SLS). Speech Level Singing is the only standardized vocal technique that effectively balances the upper and lower registrations or bridges across the entire voice, leaving it uncluttered, connected, strong and healthy.
Directed by Voice Teacher Brandon Brophy, the studio is a hub of artistic development for singers of all levels in the heart of downtown Toronto, directly opposite Dupont station.
The studio is a warm, welcoming environment overlooking Dupont and Spadina, equipped with a Heintzman baby grand piano, protools recording, and a Live PA system. The studio sees a vast array of singers each week from folk bands, indie rockers, broadway performers, recording artists, and those just starting out.
A Standard of Excellence
The studio’s name “3rd Voice” embodies it’s standard of teaching in 2 ways:
- it is expressive of the powerful fusion which results from awakening and blending both the upper and lower registrations across one’s entire vocal facility, and,
- it represents the profound artistic freedom inherent in the singer who has fused the tuning of their instrument, with their own sense of musicality and inspiration.
